Powerful H743 Flight Controller

At the heart of the MicoAir743 V2 55A FC ESC Stack is the STM32H743VIT6 MCU running at 480MHz with 2MB of Flash memory. This high-performance processor provides the processing capability needed for advanced flight-control applications.

The board uses BMI088 and BMI270 IMUs and also integrates an SPL06 barometer and QMC5883L compass. This combination makes the stack suitable for applications requiring accurate attitude, altitude and navigation data. MicoAir Tech

55A AM32 ESC Performance

The integrated 55A AM32 ESC provides a powerful motor-control solution for compatible FPV builds. AM32 firmware offers modern ESC features and compatibility with common digital ESC protocols.

The integrated FC and ESC architecture helps keep the electronics installation clean while reducing the number of separate components required in the build.

Bluetooth Telemetry

One of the useful features of the V2 version is built-in Bluetooth telemetry. The Bluetooth connection is internally connected to UART8 and operates at 115200 baud, providing convenient telemetry connectivity for supported applications. MicoAir Tech

This can be particularly useful for pilots and builders who want easier access to telemetry and configuration without relying entirely on a wired connection.

Multiple UART and PWM Connections

The MicoAir743 V2 provides 8 UART ports and up to 11 PWM outputs, giving builders plenty of connectivity options for receivers, GPS, telemetry equipment, VTX systems and other peripherals. MicoAir Tech

The board also includes an I2C interface and USB Type-C connection, providing additional flexibility when configuring an advanced drone.

DJI O3 and O4 VTX Support

The MicoAir743 V2 55A FC ESC Stack includes a dedicated DJI O3/O4 VTX connector. The board provides a 12V 3A BEC output for video transmitters and cameras, making it suitable for modern HD FPV builds. MicoAir Tech

Always verify the voltage requirements of your specific VTX before connecting it.

Firmware Support

The MicoAir743 V2 supports multiple popular flight-control firmware platforms, including ArduPilot, PX4, Betaflight and INAV. This makes the board suitable for different types of FPV and autonomous multirotor applications. MicoAir Tech

Builders can select the firmware platform that best matches their drone, flight requirements and preferred configuration software.

Compact 30×30 Design

The flight controller uses a 30.5 × 30.5mm mounting pattern and measures approximately 36 × 36 × 8mm. The compact format makes it suitable for many standard FPV frames designed around a 30×30 electronics mounting pattern.

UART Mapping (Ardupilot)

  • SERIAL0 -> USB
  • SERIAL1 -> UART1 (MAVLink2, DMA-enabled)
  • SERIAL2 -> UART2 (VTX-HD, DMA-enabled)
  • SERIAL3 -> UART3 (GPS, DMA-enabled)
  • SERIAL4 -> UART4 (MAVLink2, DMA-enabled)
  • SERIAL5 -> UART6 (RCIN, DMA–enabled)
  • SERIAL6-> UART7 (ESC Telemetry, DMA-enabled)
  • SERIAL7 -> UART8 (DMA–enabled)

UART Mapping (PX4)

  • ttyACM0 -> USB
  • ttyS0->TELEM1 -> UART1
  • ttyS1->TELEM2 -> UART2
  • ttyS2->GPS1 -> UART3
  • ttyS3->TELEM3-> UART4
  • ttyS4->RC -> UART6
  • ttyS5->URT6 -> UART7
  • ttyS6->TELEM4/SERIAL4 -> UART8

RC Input (Ardupilot)

The default RC input is configured on the UART6. The SBUS pin is inverted and connected to RX6. Non SBUS, single wire serial inputs can be directly tied to RX6 if SBUS pin is left unconnected. RC could be applied instead at a different UART port such as UART2, UART4 or UART8, and set the protocol to receive RC data: SERIALn_PROTOCOL=23 and change SERIAL5 _Protocol to something other than 23.

OSD Support  (Ardupilot)

The MicoAir743 supports OSD using OSD_TYPE 1 (MAX7456 driver) and OSD_TYPE 5 (MSP_DISPLAYPORT).

VTX Support

The SH1.0-6P connector supports a DJI Air Unit / HD VTX connection. Protocol defaults to DisplayPort. Pin 1 of the connector is 9v so be careful not to connect this to a peripheral requiring 5v.

PWM Output

The MicoAir743 supports up to 10 PWM outputs.

Channels 1-10 support DShot.

Channels 1-8 support bi-directional DShot.

(currently PX4&INAV not support BDShot function)

PWM output share grouped and every group must use the same output protocol:

1,2,3,4 are group 1

5, 6 are group 2

7,8,9,10 are group 3

Battery Monitoring

The board has a internal voltage sensor and connections on the ESC connector for an external current sensor input.
The voltage sensor can handle up to 6S LiPo batteries.
The default battery parameters(for Ardupilot) are:
  • BATT_VOLT_PIN 10
  • BATT_CURR_PIN 11
  • BATT_VOLT_MULT 21.2
  • BATT_CURR_SCALE 40.2

Compass

The MicoAir743 has a built-in compass sensor (IST8310), and you can also attach an external compass using I2C on the SDA and SCL connector.
