₹7,200.00

The MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller features an STM32F405 processor, BMI088 IMU, ArduPilot & INAV support, multiple UARTs, and reliable performance for FPV, UAV, and autonomous drone applications.

Description

Build a reliable, high-performance FPV drone with the MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller & ESC Stack, available at Multirotors. Combining the advanced MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller with a high-efficiency ESC, this stack is designed for freestyle, long-range, cinematic, mapping, and autonomous UAV applications. With support for both ArduPilot and INAV firmware, it offers exceptional flexibility for FPV pilots, drone developers, and professional UAV builders.

Powered by the STM32F405 processor, the flight controller is the first to integrate the highly regarded Bosch BMI088 6-axis IMU while supporting INAV. Renowned for its outstanding vibration resistance, temperature stability, and measurement accuracy, the BMI088 delivers smoother flight characteristics, improved positioning, and enhanced flight reliability even in demanding environments.

Compatible with both Mission Planner and INAV Configurator, the F405 V2 makes firmware installation, updates, and tuning simple, giving pilots access to advanced navigation features, autonomous flight modes, and highly customizable flight control settings.

Paired with an ESC running BlueJay 48K firmware, the stack minimizes electrical noise and improves motor efficiency, resulting in more stable flight performance, cleaner sensor data, and enhanced GPS Position Hold accuracy.

Installation is quick and hassle-free thanks to the plug-and-play design. The flight controller features 6 UARTs, 10 PWM outputs, I2C, SWD, and a USB Type-C interface, while socket-based connections reduce soldering and simplify wiring for faster, cleaner builds.

The included ESC is built with premium 40V 165A MOSFETs featuring an ultra-low 1.1mΩ RDS(ON). This advanced power system reduces heat generation, increases efficiency, improves current handling, and provides reliable performance during continuous high-load flights.

Designed for modern HD FPV systems, the integrated AT7456E OSD supports seamless integration with the DJI O3 Air Unit, providing a clean and stable power supply for improved HD video quality and enhanced Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) performance.

Purchasing the complete MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller & ESC Stack ensures perfect hardware compatibility, simplified installation, and better overall value compared to purchasing individual components separately.

With its compact layout and versatile mounting options, this stack is an excellent choice for pilots building high-performance FPV drones and autonomous UAV platforms.

The MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller is a high-performance and cost-effective flight controller designed for FPV drones, autonomous UAVs and multirotor applications. It is built around the STM32F405RGT6 processor and includes a high-performance BMI088 IMU, barometer, OSD, multiple UART interfaces and PWM outputs. The board supports both ArduPilot and INAV firmware, making it suitable for a wide range of drone configurations.

MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller Features

The MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller uses an STM32F405RGT6 MCU running at 168MHz with 1MB of Flash memory. It features a BMI088 IMU for flight sensing and an SPL06 barometer for altitude measurement. The integrated AT7456E OSD provides on-screen display functionality for compatible FPV applications.

The board also includes a MicroSD card slot, USB Type-C connectivity, six UART ports, ten PWM outputs and an I2C interface. These connections provide flexibility when connecting receivers, GPS modules, ESC telemetry, cameras, video transmitters and other peripherals.

ArduPilot and INAV Support

One of the key advantages of the MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller is its firmware support. MicoAir states that the board is officially supported by ArduPilot from version 4.5.0 and by INAV from version 8.0.0. This makes the controller suitable for pilots and drone builders who want to configure their aircraft using open-source flight-control software.

With ArduPilot, the controller can be configured for different aircraft types and applications. INAV support also makes it suitable for FPV and navigation-focused builds. The choice of firmware depends on the requirements and configuration of the individual drone.

Multiple UART and PWM Connections

The MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller provides six UART interfaces for connecting different peripherals. The board includes dedicated connections for GPS, DJI VTX, ESC telemetry and receiver applications. This makes it particularly useful for more advanced builds that require several external devices.

The controller supports up to ten PWM outputs, while outputs 1 through 8 support DShot. Outputs 1 through 4 also support bi-directional DShot. This provides flexible motor-control options for compatible multirotor configurations.

Built-In BEC Outputs

The MicoAir F405 V2 Flight Controller includes two regulated BEC outputs. The 5V BEC provides up to 3A for devices such as receivers, GPS units and optical-flow sensors. A separate 9V 3A BEC is available for compatible video transmitters and cameras.

These dedicated power outputs can simplify wiring and help provide appropriate regulated power to compatible peripherals. Always verify the voltage requirements of each connected device before installation.

Battery Monitoring

The MicoAir F405 V2 includes internal voltage sensing and an external current-sensor input through the ESC connector. The onboard voltage sensor supports batteries up to 6S LiPo according to MicoAir's specifications. This allows pilots to monitor important battery information through compatible flight-control software.

Battery monitoring is particularly useful for FPV and autonomous drone applications because it provides the flight controller with information about battery voltage and current consumption.
